Wow. I love how you see these three, particularly Shane.

I know that threesome sex is definitely not a new concept in fanfics, and all the recent TV shows about multiple spouses have put group relationships into the mainstream consciousness. But it's just not often that I come across a fic about a true polyamorous triad, three people who all love each other deeply and could build a life together, as solid and true as any two-person marriage.

But I feel like I'm reading one whenever I come across one of your Rick/Lori/Shane stories. You convince me every time that Shane loved both Rick and his wife, that Rick loved Shane even as he chose Lori, and that Lori had chemistry with Shane from the very beginning. And you do it in so few sentences, with just a few hints. And yes, you made me ache for Shane, too. It's a wonderful read.

Have you noticed any other fic writers going down this road? I'd sure like to read some more OT3 authors, though I think I've already found the frontrunner.

I love this feedback. Thank you so much. I am thrilled to death you think my characterizations are correct - I have such fear of being ooc, especially Shane as he's my favorite (obviously :p) and the fact that you think the poly works is brilliant.

I'm normally not someone who writes threesomes but for this group it just seems to work and be the right thing for them. :)

I also forgot to mention I've not seen many people writing poly for these characters in this fandom...one of my friends almadeamla did a few things, I think, but she's mostly Shane/Rick.

Hm. You know, I'm not usually a fan of stories where Shane was into Lori pre-apocalypse (they feel kind of icky to me, I don't know why) but here it worked very nicely. You wove Shane's feelings for Lori and Rick into this story in equal measure and I was never entirely sure where they broke apart.

Hi dear - I'm so glad to hear from you! And I'm sorry you're so busy. Is it school? I do have a few other TWD pieces on here I don't think you've read yet if you want some fic...this season has been iffy for me as I really really do miss Shane and the dynamic, but I have enjoyed it all the same. It's just not "the" show, if you get me. I will continue to love and watch it, though, just not like I did.

I miss writing, but my life is so upside down right now (some health issues, my mom having health issues also) I can't focus so I've just been working and trying to sleep and exercise and that's about it.

Stay in touch as you can! I miss you too!
