Well, Hot Italian asked me to go see the fourth Harry Potter movie in Chicago in the IMAX theater. Now, I am real excited to go with him, and I am real excited to go to Chicago, but this event is complicated

It is not that I am concerned about my appearance next to Hot Italian. I am concerned about the comparisons that people will draw between Hot Italian and I

I agree with both bend and scott. . and I definitely think ben should kiss the friend's roommate. . if for no other reason than the world is there for my amusement.
also I'm not sure if I've said it before, but it is true that it has always kinda confused me that you claim you are "obviously gay" I mean you are probably about as obviously gay as I am. well maybe I can pass slightly easier, but it would be debatable. both of us though seem to make no qualms about being out and liking guys, which is different than having gay mannerisms.
Also, good luck with the hot Italian, but be careful of the not out stuff. I personally have lots of issues with the idea of dating someone that wouldn't admit to his friends and maybe family that we were dating. one must be comfortable with themselves and be honest with me and people important to them if they are going to date me.

Hot Italian did say what you just said: "...one must be comfortable with themselves and be honest with me..."
He believes that it is his own business regarding his sexuality. Now, I will agree that I would rather date someone who is "out," at least amoung his family. But then again, I do not know him, or his family, to pass judgement. However, I do believe that past a certain point, it is pointless to remain in the closet, considering the advancements the gay movement has made over the past twenty years.
Hell, I would prefer if Hot Italian was out, but no one is perfect. I am far from perfect.~~Nick
Why does every straight guy think that just because a gay guy is being nice, they're trying to pick them up? Maybe that's just the way that some guys view the world, I suppose, but I'm glad that you worked it out. You certainly exhibited more self control than I would have.
In other news, go to Chicago. And please, report back!

Roommate-of-Friend and I have an understanding regarding the situation above. It is now in the past. Although, it did start a thought-provoking dialogue between all parties involved. *shrug*
You better believe I believe in details! Just read my LiveJournal, and you'll see. *wink wink*
