Honeysuckle gone wild

After years of not blooming, or at most popping one or two blossoms, my honeysuckle has gone wild.

Gorgeous! It's wonderful what has come back after the years of drought. I thought my hydrangeas would never bloom again.

So very pretty, and such a contrast with the view outside my window (it has started snowing again.)

Summer has begun here--this is the time of year (like autumn) when the contrast of the axis tilt is most dramatic: we've put the bed blankets away, and I have had to fire up the fan to blow on me at night, as it's not cool enough outside. (Whereas last year, the fan stayed on all year.)
