Duck culture

The last day or two I've been trying to get out to do some long-overdue garden stuff before it gets too hot, which means right as soon as the sun comes up. As I was toiling away today, I was listening to these ducks that live part time in the water feature behind our tiny patio.

That's a beautiful little pond they've adopted.

I love to see flocks of ducks overhead.

They're quite brave around humans, aren't they? Look at all the ducks at Disneyland. They'll walk right up to you to be fed.

Are you supposed to get the rain this afternoon?

That sucks.

We have 70% chance beginning at 1:00.

Right now, the clouds come and the clouds go, so...who knows?

Yeah, same here. It's actually a little cooler than it was at nine this a.m. so there's at least the edge of a weather front.
