Athena's Daughters . . .

The all-women science fiction and fantasy anthology Athena's Daughters is out. All kinds of stories! My contribution is about old ladies who get powers, called "Commando Bats."

I really enjoyed Commando Bats. I liked the diversity in the women chosen to receive powers and that it required wisdom to learn how to use the powers and determine what they should do with them as they learned to understand them.

Thwarting the bank hold-up was marvelous! And, I loved Bettina's concern for her student. I felt that gave them a direction to focus both their wisdom and their powers.

Great read!

(And the humor was AWESOME!)
