Lovely photos. I'd send you over some of the rain we're supposed to get tomorrow, if I could, especially since it will only fall on frozen roads and cause a traffic chaos here.

This strange US term 'baby shower' again.
I keep having images of folks dunking their newborn in the shower while everyone watches- bit like a lay baptism! :o)

Heh! No, at a baby shower the expecting mom gets showered with gifts.
There are games played that have to do with pregnancy and babies, and food eaten, and a whole lot of talk, the estrogen in the air significant.

The first time I heard the term, I imagines a shower of babies, similar to "It's raining men", only with babies.
