So the bad news is that my ankles (well, actually ankle, singular) decided to flare up again at the end of last week and through this weekend. So I spent today in my bed with my foot propped up. Dude, don't tease me! I take it that you're talking about a GG fic, due to the icon. If so, please share a link! I'm always looking for things to procrastinate with, and this'd serve me just fine. Of course, that is if I haven't already read it... or have, and don't remember it.

However, if it wasn't a GG fic then... nevermind. As you were.

Ha! You know what it actually is NOT a GG fanfic, though I can see why you would have thought that. See my icon now. :) You might actually be interested, didn't we both love L&C back in the day? I think I told you that I didn't even know what fandom was back then, so had no idea about fanfic or anything. A few years ago, I started exploring that world, and have been reading stuff here and there since then. I go through phases of being REALLY into it, and then months pass and I don't even think about it. Anyway, you may have read these back in the day, but in case you haven't:

It IS 2007 up in here--BUT YOU HAVE AN IPHONE--and good fic never gets old. Ooh, next, read the lulabo GG epic. I DARE YOU.

Hee. I love this comment! Do you know, today in between snatches of work I am attempting to read another story by the same author and am just not feeling it? I mean, it's good but those two were EPIC. And ALSO, I found out through the Internets that it was supposed to be a trilogy but the author never finished it. She had it all planned out and everything but never actually wrote it. WHICH IS SO FRUSTRATING! Of course if I had never known that I wouldn't care, but now that I do...WHY WAS IT NEVER WRITTEN?

And uh, I have the GG epic printed out and in a binder. For reals. So I could read it anytime I wanted to.

So...do you still read fic? I don't really actively, unless I get randomly inspired to.
