So, it's Valentine's Day. Hip hip hooray.

Okay, don't get me wrong. Probably my second or third favorite holiday after St. Paddy's Day and Christmas. It's an excuse to show and tell people you love them and give them things you might not normally give. Not everyone is kind enough to give their loved ones random gifts. Anyway. So I like it.

No, I am a bit worse. Not sleeping well (at all) cuz I'm stuffed up, and my chest is at that achy point where it hurts just to be alive. Bah.

He made me pasta with four-cheese tomato sauce and sweet italian sausage. It's one of my favorite meals. I've been teaching him over the last few weeks how to not burn a pot of water (seriously, he can) and actually make things like pasta and sausage, and apparently that was why. It was actually really tasty.

And I know. :) Of course I sent a card. You are my Jess. ;)
