Smallville - Season 10 Premiere - #GASP

Sep 24, 2010 23:08

Okay, so I went into Smallville's season 10 premiere, with very little hope for any Chlollie lovin'... and both was and wasn't disappointed. They didn't have any actual air-time together, I know - that's the disappointing part - however, I feel like their love transcended that.

Things needing to be pointed out...

I wanted to cry in this episode because of Chloe. Man. They made her so broken. And I agree with everything you said. About Lois. Clark. Lex. Everything. But really I will hate it if they screw up this pairing. I just love these two so much.

I was so teary-eyed for Chloe! She finally had her life starting with Oliver, she had her heart-mended and a future in sight and then *this*! UGH! Life and love is not nice to her!

I'm so worried they'll screw with them and I don't want that. I don't want them to have Oliver *give up* on her or leave it an ending where hey, he found something with Canary. I will be so pissed if that happens!! After nine years of being crapped on, Chloe deserves her happily ever after... in Star City... with Oliver. ♥

Man I just want to cry so bad ... Why do they always do this to my favorite characters.

I am very scared. I almost didn't see this episode. I don't think i am going to see the season until Chloe comes back. I may just see Oliver scenes on Youtube ... I am just scare. I don't think I will be able to take it. It's so scary how my hearts when I think about all the pain she has gone through. It's just not right. They better end this series right for her. She deserves it.

*sigh* I know!! Between Chloe and Oliver and their mutual and separate pain, ugh... They're such great actors too that I feel it *with* them... *tears* They so, *so* deserve that happy ending!

I know what you mean! I've considered just waiting and watching *only* Chlollie or Oliver scenes, but we'll see how the season goes... I tend to like writing episodes I don't like, haha. :)

Okay, this is the psychologist in me, but I'm a little curious to see how Tess will influence Alexander. We may get to see a little nature v nurture, is Lex really evil or can some mommy love he never got rule out the bad influence that Lionel had on him. And I always kind of thought Jonathan helped bring out the evil too.
And no matter what the writers do to the Chlollie story, I'll be looking for how you make it better. Looking forward to the new year.

I so agree!! I want to know how Tess affects him. But I can't help thinking, if older-Lex had all of Lex's memories, does little Lex, too? Because then he'd already have that jaded history in his head. But I want so much for him. He's new, he's small and adorable and he deserves better. I want Tess to give him better!

I desperately want SV to give Chlollie what they deserve, but I'm also ready to clean up their mistakes, haha! :)

I'm not a Smallville watcher, regardless of how much I read the fanfic. Not to offend, but it's always come a cross as a bit too cheesie. But, I'm watching the last season just because it's the last. I, too am curious about the affect Tess will have on Lex 6(?). And I think the soldier that was burning in the fireplace was a hint, but I don't watch the show enough to get it's meaning. Can anyone help me out here?

Helmet asked if she would sacrifice her sanity for the archer. I remember that much. Not sure on what else. I was being interrupted somewhat.

Also... she was wearing green, was she not? I swear her clothes had some definite green in them.

I believe she was wearing a black jacket, a green shirt, and I wanted her to be wearing her green leather jacket, lol.

Okay, so she didn't sacrifice her sanity via the helmet, but I suppose through the cruelty of their torture, sanity could be very soon robbed from her... *sigh* I want Oliver to save her, *now*!

She was wearing the green jacket when she looked at the tape, before Clark came in and she didn't tell him Oliver was not ok. And the voices were all Foolish Girl, Not Chosen, Love is Dangerous. and then she put on the helmet.

Really!?!? It looked darker to me, and yet the same design. Then again, I was distracted. Silly people kept walking by - didn't they realize when Smallville's on not to walk anywhere near the TV or so much as *speak*? lol

Interesting... I wonder what to take from that... Hmm...

I really agree with a lot of your review!

They bump right into each other and all I can think is-- "Realize! Damn it, Oliver! She's right there! She's so close!"
Same here! I loved that they had them bump but at the same time, I was like "Oh no! Save her!"

I really liked Lois in this episode. When her voice breaks at seeing Clark down, I really felt for her... When she gets snarky, I love her more. And when she fake drops a pencil to give him a chance to do what he has to do, I'm just smiling.AGREE SO HARD! That's what I was thinking in this episode. I thought Erica was great and I was feeling what Lois was feeling ( ... )

I was inwardly screaming, "NO! NO!" when they passed each other... 'Cause I knew, there was no way it *wasn't* her... Talk about heartbreak though. All I could think as he sat in that truck was, "A. He's going to realize what she did and see her there, or B. He's going to go home, look for her, and realize she's gone..." OH MAN, I hope she leaves him something *explaining* what she did and why... *bites nails nervously ( ... )

I agree the darkness thing total bullshit! I mean helooo!!! Superman can never be evil! The fortress is supposed to give him useful advice not make him doubt himself grr!!

My biggest problem is that it just came out of nowhere! I mean, yes, last season he had his moments of anger (especially when he was dealing with Tess) but he always controlled himself. He's the one who's full of light, which is how he was able to believe in the Kandorians. This whole "you're full of darkness" thing is just BS.

I've long ago decided the Fortress is useless and I'm glad that we saw the real Jor-El in "Kandor", so we could all see for sure that Clark's biological father was good, even if the fortress he created is corrupted.

I so agree about Clark's Darkness. Wasn't showed in s9 that he's above other heros because of his unbreakable morals and blah blah?? So I too was WTH?? But that only lasted like 20 seconds, because the last thing Im interested this season is about Clark's destiny. lol

EXACTLY! They were making it look like Clark was the most moral of all moral and then suddenly he's dark and I'm like, "Uh, what? Am I the only one who missed the part where he went dark? Was I distracted...?" lol

Haha, some SV-writer out there is confused by our lack of interest in Clark's destiny. Meh. They put Allison and Justin in the same scene together, they brought this on themselves. lol
