I'm pretending that the Oliver/Tess is just Ollie trying to get some business info without looking suspicious. I don't like it at all either so I'm in denial.

Because come on, seriously? Do they really expect to last? It just doesn't work. There are too many secrets, too many problems, too many miscommunications, and honestly, I don't think she's really in love with him.

I think Allison is trying to sell it but it's not working. They ARE Clana 2.0 and they had their cute moments but it's done. They keep proving time and time again that they're not ready for marriage.

Clark looked gorgeous though and he was just adorable.

And she looked seriously broken when she saw Clark and she-alien (M-something, right?) sucking face. I loved her reaction, Erica did a fantastic job this episode, I think.

Erica was very awesome. I like how she was explaining hormones and endorphins to Clark. :D

I really enjoyed this one. I'm looking forward to next week. S8 has me so far. :)

I'm desperately hoping that it really is just a ploy on Oliver's part. And I think it could be... He's not stupid and past or not, his eyes are set on justice. He has to know that if Lex put Tess at the forefront, there's a reason.

Allison is a fantastic actress but I think even she must realize that after seven seasons of getting kicked around and losing out in the love arena, she deserves better than Jimmy Olsen. And while she's said that we will be seeing her in a white dress, she never states whether they get down the aisle. Fingers crossed she comes to her senses. More than likely, I bet Jimmy leaves her at the altar or something similiar ( ... )

Seriously! Oliver is definitely not that stupid. He wouldn't mess with Tess ... this is not a man who has put his hormones first. I'm going to be pissed if they mess with his character.

Allison said in a comic con that "Chloe would be lucky to have either Jimmy or Clark" and then went to add how Clark is "high maintenance". So for, some reason she really believes in this even though most of us don't. Especially since, IMO, Chimmy continues to prove how much they don't belong together.

And while she's said that we will be seeing her in a white dress, she never states whether they get down the aisle.

Umm ... how much of a spoilerphobe are you? Dude, Ollie's not even in that episode!

Clark was amazing. And Lois's jealousy rocked.

Lois doesn't have a filter on her mouth. In a deleted scene of "Arctic", she apparently even questioned Clark about the Clex. Which cracks me up.

Any ideas when the next episode with Oliver is?He may be in next week's. Not sure. I haven't read anything to the contrary. Definitely not in the 6th but is ( ... )

totally agree with your comment about chloe - she deserves better!!! THAT is what gets me about the whole show at the moment - they're completely selling her short and it is SO infuriating lol. I mean sure, don't have her end up with Clark, but just because those two aren't going to happen it doesn't mean she can't end up with someone else who is amazing and worthy. Jimmy (while a nice character on his own) just seems ever-so-slightly "second-string" when put next to the other guys on the show - it makes it seem like Chloe's settling ( ... )

Exactly. Just because she can't be with Clark doesn't mean she can't have her own hero! Or someone who really understands her, knows all about her, that she can truly trust! Jimmy really does make second string, maybe even third. With the kind of life Chloe is going to lead what is he going to do when big things go down? Wait around and hope the heroes save her or she gets out of it on her own? He's just not cut out for a woman like her.

Yeah, I'm really hoping this Tess/Oliver line is really just Oliver searching for something other than romance. He's much too smart for that, right? RIGHT! Don't ruin him, Smallville!

I loved the confrontation between Dean, Sam and Ruby and then later with just Dean and Sam. The guy who plays Dean (Jensen Ackles) is a phenomenal actor. He's what really anchored me to Supernatural. Very delish! lol Oh, I know, I love Castiel. He better be back soon! Can't wait for next Thursday!

I don't know if I can watch the show anymore. Too much character assasination for me going on. Chloe is becoming unrecognizable, so much so that I don't even want her on the show anymore.. yes it's getting that bad for me. Him sending a dress with an invitation was just out of character, so the character assasination of Oliver begins ( ... )

Very true. As lj user="svgurl"> was saying:

"I think Allison is trying to sell it but it's not working. In terms of the Chimmy. Overall, I'm not sure how to take her. She's super-intelligent, which is just a few notches up from her usual brilliance, but she's using it for good. She's been a little stand-offish lately. And it was too bad there wasn't any Chloe/Lois interaction because she usually mellows out with Lois. But with the whole Jimmy angle, she's kind of losing her edge and they're almost giving her this desperate look. Like "Hey, I can't get Clark but I really want to be in love, so I think Jimmy loves me and I'll marry him because he asked and I'll just pretend that I'm entirely happy with that even though he doesn't know or understand me and I don't trust him enough to tell him but I'll tell Paramedics I've only met a few times... That's normal, right?" Except it's not and for someone who has a massive brain right now, you'd think she'd realize how much she's screwing herself over ( ... )

Character assassination is something I think we've all come to expect on Smallville. Chloe is no longer Chloe to me, I enjoy reading fanfic because it showcases all that she COULD and SHOULD be ( ... )
