Adylven didn't like Murlocs. They just show up and make their camps on various shores whenever and wherever they please. Then they attack at the drop of a hat, usually in a group.

No, he really couldn't stand those horrid creatures, so he was quite surprised when he found himself actually working with them.

Yeah, Murlocs aren't terribly bright, it seems, to be fooled by that. :)
