I loved this. Very dream-like, almost surreal; a little ambiguous and a bit unsettling--it reminds of some of the Japanese fiction I've read.
Your imagery is beautiful. It makes the melancholic aspects of the writing more acute while at the same time distancing them with words that make the emotion slightly less raw.
My favourite part is probably:
Junsu's eyes are blank. All around him, there are strips of white and blue, remnants of Junsu's sheets. Jaejoong checks for blood. That Junsu's making war-time bandages is the only explanation Jaejoong can think of. There isn't a trace of red and Junsu's eyes are still horribly dry.
Bondage isn't usually my thing but I really enjoyed this. ♥ Thank you for writing! :) (referred here by scarletpeonies, hehe. c:)
I can't either, actually, although I wish I could! Most of Haruki Murakami's works have been translated (Min reads him, hehe, although I'd read him before I knew that xD), and I'd rec Kafka on the Shore, because it's dreamy magical realism, based loosely on Oedipus Rex. Just to warn you if you do read it, it took me a really long time to get into the story because it's a bit confusing, but once I finished I liked it so much more.
It was really good! The only reason I have problems reading bondage is when there are consent issues, but there weren't here at all, so it was just fine for me. :)
ah, i've heard good things about him! maybe once i get a break from school i can start one of his books. it'll definitely be on my book list.
i guess, for me, i've never really thought about being interested or disinterested in kinks like bondage or otherwise. but through this request, i think i've learned a lot. haha. i'm glad it was okay for you. :) i know that there are varying levels of comfort for different people.

And now I'm gonna make a fool out of myself by saying that I'm not quite sure I understood what happened D:

basically, jaejoong wants to comfort junsu, but in reality, junsu wants to make things up to jaejoong because yoonhee was jaejoong's sister. :|

This story is so damn confusing, I don't get a clue what's going on here.
