the oasis is gone

I am so sad that my favorite free art near work is gone. It was an installation at the Chicago Cultural Center (Michigan and Randolph) which is on my way to several of my regular work errands. It was a collaborative project of two Brazilian artists ( Read more... )

I've got to give them credit. They update their calendar quickly. No stale events listed there.

Anyway, using Google with "Cultural Center" + Chicago + pool + clothing was a wash, but when I replaced pool with discarded, this link from the Sun-Times came through.

hey, thanks!

Now the description comes back to me. I guess I thought they were Brazilian because there was a Brazilian art exhibit next to it.

But its good to remember their name in case they do any other installations in the area...or if I ever go to Miami.
