Since finishing work Friday morning at 11am I have been extremely busy. Friday afternoon I went out and got the tires rotated on the car and other errands. Saturday we went to Portland for Kathy and Hai Yue's wedding. I finish work tomorrow at 11am and don't have to go back! I am so excited to be leaving my position. We ended up moving the office one more time and that was frustrating. I began training my replacement at SMART this week. It turns out that this was a bad week at SMART to be trying to train someone. The mold issue in our office has yet to be resolved, we are pretty sure we're going to have to move the office but we don't know where or when, and we finally got a decision about how they will divide the SMART territory ( Read more... )

I'm getting there. That's my statement on unpacking. We have the majority of it done and now we're to all of the little things that drive you crazy trying to find them a home. We moved this last weekend. It's nice to have everything over here even if not a lot is put away. I also started summer term this week and the two classes I am taking this first session are kinda lame. My anth class, people of SE Asia, is lame because the Prof just got his Ph.D and thinks we need to do a bunch of work for a 200 level class. My Ed ( Read more... )

Yay! I'm doing the happy dance because I just finished my one and only final for this term. I turned in all of my work for my teaching classes yesterday so I am now done. Well, we did it. We got a puppy on Saturday. We ended up getting a 10wk old Pomeranian boy who we've named Lucien. He's very quiet, docile and sweet. He does have a bit of separation anxiety which we are dealing with. He's currently sleeping under my desk at me feet. We have two appointments to see litters of puppies tomorrow. I am very excited. They are both Pomeranian litters and in the same area so we decided to see both. I hope to find a puppy that I love soon. But we do have a list of other people from the paper with litters that we are going to call if we don't see one tomorrow that we love ( Read more... )
