Per our discussion? WTF?

I realized I was having a problem getting out of "work mode" when last night in a letter to my grandmother I almost used the phrase 'per our discussion.'

Me too. I'll leave my brother a voice mail and say something like, "Hi, this is Sarah McCoy..." as if he doesn't know that.
