planned kitrich.net downtime

kitrich.net will be down this afternoon for a move out of the current datacentre. I expect it to be down from approximately 1600-1900EDT, and its IPs will change during this time. DNS will, of course, be updated, and I'll post the new IPs here along with a notice once it's back up. Follow twitter for more in-depth moving details. ;)

don't forget to put a bucket of sand next to it in case it gets nervous during the move! ^.^

when we did laser holography back in the '80s, we had a whole big huge pool-table-sized box of sand to keep the mirrors from shaking when they got nervous.

They tended to get very nervous when the trucks and buses drove past outside.

it affects *.kitrich.net which includes emu.kitrich.net yes. if you meant emuvax.foreverchat.net, it affects that too. I let solar_angel/Jen know and she was going to handle that.
