Ice climbing was fantastic, even though we did it in the rain -- a severe weather warning, in fact! What an experience to climb a vertical wall of ice with just ice picks and spikes on my feet! We are now in Queenstown -- adventure capital of the world. We're booked in for an adrenaline activity tomorrow, but I'm keeping it a secret til later

Wow! those pictures are beautiful! Makes me want to go out and hike.... I'd LOVE hiking somewhere like that (haha ok not the steep one) the first one is breath taking... and thats just pictures, I can only imagine how amazing it was in real life!
Does your secret adventure have to do with what you posted on fb? If so I still think your crazy but your going to have an amazing time!!!..... then if you like it, next time you come to cochrane you can go up the hill and do it over the town too :) hahah that would be no where near as pretty though lol.

Yup, the secret has been revealed! I mostly did it so my mum would read about it after I did it instead of before, lol! -- I don't think she likes my airborne adrenaline activities much! :p

I bet the Cochrane area would be nice to hang glide over, with the mountains in the distance!
