edmund wroke me out of my sickness induced torpor to tell me there have been more explosions at three other tube stations. this time around it seems to be minor... copycatish or something. anyhoo, i'm alive, and awake and i think i'll be popping around the corner to tesco for something to eat. grilled cheese sandwich sounds really good, don't it?

Why am I feeling so messed up right now? No one I know was hurt today (thank God), I wasn't hurt, I was geographically far enough away from where the bombs were located that they might as well had been in another city, and I don't LIVE here.... Bess & Edmund are fine!!! E just rang me after leaving Kentwell early to see if I was ok. Apparently Bess is at Kentwell, but wasn't on the list this week. So, she's safe! I'm so happy!

I just found out that most of the bombs went off AFTER I got off the tube.

I was stopped in an underground tunnel between 9:00 and 9:25, in fact. They were telling us it was a "tower failure" or "power surge" the whole time.
