Plans are what you make as life slips past you
I added another 1,200+ words to part one of my erotic Steampunk tale. The plan so far is to put it out in serial form, then when I finish I'll give it to my editor and beta readers to go over and release in ebook form. No idea if there's a market for soft Steampunk erotica but I know I'd enjoy reading it so there's that ( Read more... ) -

Took a break from Alpha to work on new idea that won't give up. So far over 1k words on TCD, hopefully can do another 1k tonight. It's fun, but so far I'm only scratching the surface of this world. :) -

Writing stats
So I'm up to 12,237 on Alpha and the story's finally starting in earnest. I get this funny feeling my edits are going to be cutting out a lot of filler, but that's for AFTER the story is finished. I'm usually an adder not a taker when it comes to my rough drafts so this has the huge potential to be much longer than I'd prefer.

I haz a tired
Spent the afternoon playing ME3 and running errands so got to my writing late. Thought about taking a day off but decided some is better than none in the words department, so plunked out 244 words to get me to another thousands place (11,018).
*yawn^ Almost two hours after my bedtime, g'nite folks. *toodles off to bed* -

It's probably no surprise to anyone reading this now that I'm a big time gamer girl, and that I heart the Mass Effect series with the fire of a trillion suns. Character voice
Right now, I'm having doubts/problems/thoughts about a character's "voice", that in definable aspect that, through words, allows you to see without being told exactly who that person really is. Given I'm on the rough draft I'm giving myself a lot of wiggle room as I've no doubt things will solidify more by the end of the novel (or at least by the ( Read more... ) -
