I hit my first 10k point today! Those tens always feel like such fantastic milestones. ;-D
Managed another 1,006 words today for a total of 10,774 on Alpha. I've been working on this story for about a week now and have managed to stay above my 1,000-a-day (average) minimum word count which is always nice.
Earlier this afternoon I let up on my self-imposed gaming exile and allowed myself a few hours to play Mass Effect 3. This is one game I don't want to end so I'm taking my time - I've already seen the endings possible (and the huge controversy it's caused) but that doesn't matter, the game itself is still the final curtain for my favorite gaming series of all time so you'll excuse me if I allow myself to enjoy it. ;)
Now however it's time for bed. Two more days then the weekend. Can't wait to be home from the day job!
