Really? I am awake at 4:15 a.m. Fell asleep last night embarrassingly early, like 8:40. Now I can't seem to sleep anymore and the to-do listing has begun in earnest. The harpies are fully awake and screaming in my head. The house is totally quiet. I guess I'll work. Maybe it will shut the harpies up.

Trying not to freak out. There is so much on my plate right now I'm dreaming projects, tasks, checklists, and deadlines. Having this much work is great! Except that Asher is sick again. He has a pretty high fever that goes down when we dose him with ibuprofen, but returns every 5 to 6 hours. This has been the case since Saturday, when we dragged ( Read more... )

We're deep into Spring Break now. Lucas and Asher have had last week and this week off school and daycare. I am in the midst of my busiest weeks of this year, so this isn't an ideal situation. I just heard from our publisher that our textbook Medical Terminology Complete has just been adopted by Cabrillo College and its three branches. That's 800 books per year! Yippee!

The department chair says, "Our instructors are impressed and we have adopted the textbook! The first change in 41 years."

I finally have the whole morning to work on libmemcached functions! This is great because I really need to kick ass on this thing. The publisher finally sent me answers to four queries.
