So. much. love!! This is pretty much my most favorite episode of TOS, and your picspam is completely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing! :) (Oh gosh, McCoy's face when he learns about the sehlat -- perfection!)

Indeed! I think this is a subtle Spock/McCoy episode, isn't it?
You can totally see the concern on Bones'face when Spock decides to donate his blood.

Also, the awesomeness of Amanda knows no bounds.
I would pay to see her and McCoy talking about Vulcans and Vulcan philosophy.

it's definitely got some great spock/mccoy scenes. yup.
amanda's great. and that sounds fascinating :D amanda and mccoy talking about vulcan culture!! <3
i really like amanda, even in the latest movie which we haven't discussed yet :o did you like it? it didn't really amuse me. i mean it had some really funny scenes, and it's safe to say that i loved this kirk more than the one in tos. and i guess that's what my problem is. that it spock was not my favorite character. and how could he have been? he was not the spock i came to love. and i know that yeah, this was a younger spock, he couldn't possibly have been the same as he was in tos, but i really missed his more funny and ironic, being-a-vulcan-of-course-i-know-it-better-and-still-don't-really-give-a-rat's-ass side.

Amanda and Sarek should have their own spin-off, seriously.
Have I ever told you how much I ship them? Yes, I do!
You know, I'm totally a spock/mccoy girl, I could watch the two of them bickering the whole day but my favorite scene in JTB is that little sarek/amanda bit at the end when Spock asks Sarek why he married Amanda and he says something like:
"It was the most logical thing to do"
I think it speaks volumes about their relationship.

Ooooooh, did you see it? I'm glad you did, so we can discuss it together(:
You know, I think It was....ok? I liked some stuff and but I seriously think the movie itself is waaaaay overrated. Before I go on, I have to say I have some issues with this new trek and its fandom and I might not be completely objective.
that it spock was not my favorite character. and how could he have been? he was not the spock i came to love.Absolutely! Spock is my second favorite character on TOS(my first being McCoy) but I didn't give two shits about this new Spock. He wasn't Spock at all! And whole Uhura- ( ... )

Great picspam!! The colors are gorgeous and the pictures look as neat as if they'd been taken yesterday instead of being from 40-year-old footage. And my favorite is Bones' teddy bear face as well. Look at the incredulity and utter delight there! You'd think this is a 5 year-old who received the gift of his dreams - and can't believe it. No doubt our good doctor was already dreaming of the endless possibilities for teasing he's just been handed. Too bad Spock shot them down in the egg :)

That was a great episode, although I will always wonder how in hell Kirk could NOT know that the Vulcan Ambassador and his wife were Spock's parents.

Seriously! I almost feel bad for Bones, but the whole banter is just hilarious.
:D
