::grins::

I just want you into this show so we can talk characters and squee about it together. Because everything's better with Sassy! :D

*dies of the pretty*

Oh, *yes*!! And didja notice the thigh holster?! ::fans self:: And Buck's does have the tie down too, I just don't have a good screencap of it yet. And did you notice the *awesome* gunbelt porn icon a few comments up?? So cool!!

Geez, I love Ezra....

He's pretty damned cool!

And I'm finding myself in a unique position with Mary Travis, because I want Chris and Vin for each other of course, but I want Mary for me. :D I could pet her golden hair and stare into her stunning eyes and kiss her pretty lips for *days* without getting tired of it. I'm not normally attracted to Hollywood women all that much but her...mmmmmm!

*whispers* If you can help me figure out how to do it, I'll rip the second episode for you and upload it so you can watch it. I just don't know how to do that. Normally I wouldn't but...*/whispers*

I really love this episode as well, it's just *so* much fun!! And Chris and Vin are so hot. And Buck's so cute.

I love the beginning, where they support Judge Travis (and I rewound it a couple of times myself *g*).

Oh, yes!! That's just such an incredibly alpha display it just *curls* my toes! So hot!

I love Chris propositioning Vin. Clearly he wants to consumate their relationship now that they've got the privacy to do so, before they take off to clear Vin's name. *bg*

::squeals:: Because that's *so* totally what he's doing. :) Thought it seems like they'd have more privacy out in the open country with no one around for miles thin in a little town with thin walls. And I just wrote a (teeny-tiny) story ::blush:: set later in the ep where they hadn't consummated things yet. But yeah, that's *definitely* a proposition. So wonderful!!

I love Chris being all dark ( ... )

~Privacy, yes, but no bed. *g*

Well, now there's a good point. And Chris does stress the importance of the bed, doesn't he? :D

~Makes you wonder what Chris was like when Buck knew him before, when he was married and lighter of heart.

It's kind of hard to imagine, but he must have been mustn't he? Huh.

Also makes me wonder just exactly how long they've known each other. Did Buck know Chris before he settled down with his wife, so he's seen him go through many changes and both good and bad times? And what was Buck's role in Chris taking horses to be sold (I think that's what he was doing, anyway). So much backstory, and I think we only get bits and pieces of it.

These are all interesting questions, without a doubt. Because I'd *love* to know how long Chris and Buck have been friends (the longer the time the more I can understand Buck forgiving the razor/throat thing). And *especially* so if Buck feels even a little bit responsible for Chris being gone when his family was killed.

~You know, I don't remember him getting a new hat ( ... )

Once again, love the episode notes. And the pretty pictures of Ezra in jail. And the great cap of the Best Chris Smile Ever during the "coffin full of rocks" conversation...

Love that picture of Chris smiling over the coffin full of rocks. And Ezra is awfully pretty in jail. :D

Missed the blooper! sfulton229 June 17 2007, 05:32:16 UTC
I was looking at your wonderful screencaps and realized that you didn't get the blooper in this episode. It's in the scene where Vin is scouting the James residence. Right after JD comes up and Vin tells him there is more men than they expected, so Vin is seated in the foreground; Chris is lying on his tummy and on the other side of Chris you can see Buck's hat and I believe his rifle. Since Buck is still back in town with the lucky bar maid, that is quite a trick. One thing I've wondered about the first part of the scene; they have Ezra staying with the horses. I would have thought that the two people you would most want to know the layout of the ranch would be the sniper and the one going in undercover. I would have thought JD would be with the horses and Ezra scouting the set up. Oh well. Love this episode and your wonderful comments. As for the opening scene-that is one of my favorites; I rewatch it all the time, especially when I need a Mag 7 fix but don't have time for a whole episode.

OMG I totally missed this!! I'll have to go back at some point and watch this scene again. Because I *never* noticed that. Heee!! oops!

Yeah it is a little surprising that Ezra wasn't there looking at the setup, though he wasn't exactly going in undercover per se. He just needed to go in, spot Lucas James and cut him out of the herd of men in there. But yeah, you'd think he'd have wanted to get a look....

I adore the episode though, love the incredibly hot opening scene, love just everything about it. Mmmm!!

Thanks for commenting!

Well, I didn't notice it the first twenty or so times I watched it. Someone on a list that I'm on pointed it out and now when I see the scene it's an extra giggle for me. I would have thought Ezra would need to see where everyone was; they were lucky that James was having a party and letting lots of people in his house. Otherwise, Ezra really would have had to lure Lucas from a fortified house.

Well, I feel a little better about having missed it then. :D I'll definitely watch for it next time I'm looking at that episode, because that is pretty funny. :D

Yeah, the party was very fortuitous for them. Though with a busy ranch, there are probably always a lot of people coming and going. At least during daylight.
