I am so glad you're re-reading Jonathan Strange! It's on my re-read list as well. So very lovely indeed. Did you ever check out The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making? Sometimes it's reminiscent of Strange.

I saw that episode! I was incredibly, ridiculously thrilled to see him in the brown coat and suspenders again, and I guffawed when his daughter asked, "Didn't you wear that like five years ago?" That was roughly when Serenity came out. :D
