Yay! Thank you so much for this. I've been dieing for their reunion/make-up-fest. I loved every word of this fic. It was a wonderful way to end it...although I do hold some hope that we might see more of the Doctor and Rose post this story some time in the future :)
You are so, so welcome darling. I've loved all of your comments on this so thank you for all fo your reviews. The plan is to take all of my extra stuff I wrote for this and turn it into ficlety sequels. Alas I don't think I've seen the end of this verse yet :P
Honestly, I believed your April Fool's post, too! But I've never been very good at being teased. :) And I thought when I read that, that you'd already done a great job of finishing this fic, even if it was more heartbreaking than I wanted. But this is better! I think it works both ways, actually, but of course a happy ending is more satisfying, and this one is very well done and makes sense for the characters. Thanks for a great read!
Honestly, after all of the angst and heartbreak I had to give these two (and you guys) somewhat of a happy ending. I think this works well because it resolves things without...really resolving anything at the same time :P
Thank you for putting up with me and sticking with this story :) xx
And somewhere, amongst the trinkets and rubber bands filling the Doctor’s bigger-on-the-inside pockets rested an innocuous brown book filled to the brim with the scrawl of a man who loved her.
OH this. This this this. This could be the Journal of Impossible Things ... this could be Ten's own diary. This is just AHH. (Did you have either of these in mind? Or leave it up to the reader?)
This has an answer that will get answered in a follow up fic in this same verse. Eventually. But until then I'll let you sweat over it a bit ;) because I'm JUST THAT MEAN.
This is a total aside, but you know the one thing that broke my heart in this fic more than anything else? That Rose had to leave behind the little presents that John gave to her. Ten didn't take her back, and so the little hair-comb that John bought her that she thought was so special was just abandoned there =( =(
What a gorgeous, sweet ending to a wonderful story!
And the image of the Journal is just... so very beautiful. (and is that an actual image of pages in the journal from Human Nature? Because if so, I'm so going to squee. lol)
Oh gosh, I wish! No, that was me spending hours mucking around with layers and layers (AND LAYERS) of text. The rose in the bottom left hand corner is from the original journal on the show, the rest is all mine or stolen from other clever people on the interwebs.

As for what's under the ink splotch, I'd be more concerned with the three little words in the bottom right corner!
