I've written vast amounts of Lost fanfiction so I was rather terrified at the thought of branching out into a new fandom. It was quite irrational of me really because I'm altogether quite confident in my writing skills but there you have it. I had to read through the comments to be sure, but DUNE!!! It's been ages since I read any of those books and I thought I was imagining things.

Yep, definitely Dune XD I'm more familiar with the movies and the games than the books but I love the Dune mythology and I was being a bit slack and couldn't really think up a planet name so...yes. Intertextual references are fun!
