unbelievably happy.

today was a good day.
got my October SAT II scores.
my application has officially been received.
went running for the first time since i got mono.
went a whole day without getting a fever OR falling asleep in a class.
have a mock trial team meeting at my house so that i can make people WORK.  or sort of work.  yeah, we'll work.

my entire life has been one big cliche.  apparently.  i've been informed that every topic for a college entrance essay has been done before.  no writing about your summer trip, your dedication to extracurriculars, your views on world issues -- THEY'VE HEARD IT BEFORE.  why?  because, essentially, all my and other teenagers' experiences up to this ( Read more... )

i haven't written in here in a while.  i think it's interesting the time at which i'm choosing to update after a haius.

on friday i didn't go to school and i traveled all the way to Ithaca to visit Cornell.

Cornell is beautiful.  and really big (there are seven undergraduate schools).  i talked to a lot of students there.  and the weirdest coincidence happened when i stood in the library with my dad and said, "who majors in math and philosophy?"  and then a guy ( Read more... )
