new part:

The next month Erica and Callie spent every free moment together. They didn’t question it, it just felt like a natural development to a friendship that got stronger day after day.

For Erica it was hard not to forget the reason why she was here, even if she didn’t want to think about it. She was afraid Callie would find out and hate her for it. But her friendship and her feelings for Callie were genuine. When she was with Callie, she forgot she was Special Agent Erica Hahn, she was just Erica and it was a great feeling. She had been hiding Erica too long and it felt great to let her out again. But now and then she had to be Special Agent Hahn again.

Erica was having lunch with Callie when her phone rang. It wasn’t her personal cell phone, but the phone from work. She cursed inwardly. She flipped open the phone.

“Erica Hahn speaking”, she answered.

“Is this Special Agent Erica Hahn?” a voice on the other side asked.

“Who am I speaking too?” she asked curtly. The voice on the other side hadn’t identified himself, so she wasn’t going to reveal her identity to someone she didn’t know.

“Sorry, I’m Special Agent Thimoty Darnett from the LA department. I’m calling concerning the samples you send us. Is there any way you could come over to the office?”

“I’m having lunch right now.” Erica hoped the agent would understand she couldn’t talk right now.

“No problem agent Hahn, I’ll be expecting your call. Have a nice day.”

Erica quickly put her phone away. If they were calling her asking to come over, it meant that they had found something.

“No problems I hope”, Callie asked. She had seen the change in Erica.

“No problems, don’t worry. Just an old friend who wanted to see me”, Erica lied. She hated lying to Callie.

Later that evening Callie had agreed to meet Jason for a drink, so Erica took that opportunity to call agent Darnett back.

“Agent Darnett, it’s Agent Hahn speaking. You wanted me to call you back?”

“Good evening Agent Hahn. I have some important news concerning the samples. Is there any way you could come over to the FBI building in LA? I think you’ll find our findings very interesting.”

“Would now be okay?” Erica asked. Callie had told her she wouldn’t be home before 10pm because she wanted to pass by her mother too, so that meant she had 3 hours till Callie would be back.

“Now would be perfect. What time will you be here?”

“In 30 minutes. I’ll see you then agent Darnett.”

She got there in 25 minutes. After the phone call, she was sure that they had found something.

She parked her car a block away from the entrance. On her way to the building, she called Darnett again. She wanted to know if there was a back entrance. She didn’t want to take any risks and blow her cover. There was one and so she got in through the basement. She easily found agent Darnett’s office. She knocked on the door.

“Come in.”

Erica opened the door and entered his office.

“Agent Darnett? I’m Special Agent Hahn. You wanted to see me?

“Agent Hahn, please come in. I have some news you’ll find very interesting. Have a seat.”

“Thank you.”

“As you asked me, I searched the samples you sent me. I have to say, I hope that Calliope never uses those pills.”

“I figured as much. What did you find?” She was glad they had found something, but it also meant that she’d have to tell Callie that she looked through her stuff and warn her not to use any pills from the medicine cabinet in the bathroom.

“From the 7 samples you sent me, 3 tested positive on illegal drugs. I found XTC, speed and cocaine. You need to remove those bottles from that medicine cabinet. The concentration of cocaine in the supposed Tylenol bottle is pretty heavy. If Calliope would take 2 supposed Tylenols, she’d end up in the hospital with an overdoses”, Darnett told Erica.

“Damn it”, Erica cursed.

This was bad, very bad. The high doses of cocaine in the pills meant that the cocaine wasn’t for own use, but to sell to others. She had just found proof that Jason was a drugs dealer indeed. The situation was getting more complicated by the minute.

“Can you send all this information to Director Max McKinney of the Washington Headquarters? Tell him I’ll call him as soon as I can and that he can’t contact me.”

Erica got the name of the three bottles that were filled with drugs.

“Thank you for your help agent Darnett.”

“You’re welcome agent Hahn. I hope you can nail the bastard.’

Erica quickly left the building and went back to Callie’s house. She hoped Callie wouldn’t get home earlier as she needed some time to think about how to tell Callie the news. But first she had to stop at a pharmacy to buy 3 new bottles to replace the drugs so that Callie wouldn’t take any drugs by accident. She couldn’t replace the bottles in the medicine cabinet because if Jason would find out, it could blow her cover and Callie might be in danger.

When she got to Callie’s house she was relieved to see that Callie’s car wasn’t there yet. She was sitting in her room when she heard a knock on her door.

“Come in.”

The door opened and Callie got in.

“Hey, you had a good time?” Erica asked. She didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary with Callie so she figured Jason had behaved.

“As good as I can with a boyfriend I don’t love. But at least he behaved this time. He’s leaving again in two days. I can’t say that makes me feel sad. More the contrary, I can’t wait for him to get way”, Callie said.

She went to sit beside Erica. “Were you worried that the date would go bad? Because you look worried, Erica.”

Erica looked over at Callie. She had no idea how to tell Callie about the drugs. Well, she knew the words to say to Callie, but she didn’t know how to tell those words. She was afraid Callie would kick her out and that she would lose her only friend. She didn’t care the mission wouldn’t succeed if Callie kicked her out, she only cared about Callie. She couldn’t lose Callie’s friendship. Callie made her feel things she hadn’t felt since Sophie had left her years ago. She knew she couldn’t feel these things, not because Callie was a woman, but because Callie was part of an investigation. And she had been worried about Callie’s date. She was worried each time Callie went out with Jason, even if those dates were becoming less frequent. She looked over at Callie.

“God, you’re so gorgeous”, she thought.

“Yes, I was a bit worried”, Erica said quietly. She tried getting into Agent Hahn mood, but it wasn’t working. It never worked when Callie was around.

“Erica, something’s wrong, I can tell. What’s wrong?” Callie worriedly asked.

Erica took a deep breath. “Callie, there’s something I have to tell you. Remember some time ago that I told you I’d search your house for possible drugs signs?”

Callie nodded. “You found something, didn’t you?”

Her voice was quivering. There was drugs in her house.

“Yes, in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom.”

Callie felt tears coming up. “What did you find, Erica?”

“Three medicine bottles were filled with drugs: XTC, speed and cocaine.”

Callie stayed silent. She had no idea what to say. The silence stretched into some minutes. Erica became worried.

“Callie, talk to me. Are you okay?”

Callie shook her head. “No, I’m not okay. There’s drugs in my house. I don’t want drugs in my house. I hate drugs. There’s drugs in my house. What if the police comes and…”

“Callie, the police won’t come”, Erica soothed her friend. She scooted closer to Callie and put her arm around her. Her whole body was shaking.

“Cal, relax, the police won’t come looking for drugs into your house. The only one who will come looking for drugs into your house, is Jason. He’s the one that needs the drugs.”

She felt Callie relax in her arms. “My boyfriend is a junkie. How could I have been so blind?”

“You couldn’t have known, Cal.”

“What will happen now? Will Jason be arrested?”

“No, not yet. I want to keep a closer eye on him for a bit longer. Did he tell you where he’s going to in two days?”

“No, he didn’t but I can ask him if you want. Though I doubt he’ll tell me. You said the drugs were in medicine bottles. Which ones? I don’t want to accidentally take one.”

Erica took the 3 bottles she purchased out of her bag and handed them to Callie.

“If you need any of these meds, take the ones from these bottles. If you take one out of the other bottles, you might OD. The dose of drugs is very high in them.”

Their hands accidentally brushed against each other when Erica handed the bottles to Callie. Her heart seemed to stop for a minute and her stomach filled with butterflies. Callie must have felt the same because she looked up and held Erica’s gaze for a few seconds.

“Thanks”, she whispered.

Callie was laying awake in bed later that night. The discovery that there was drugs in her house had shook her really hard. She couldn’t believe how blind she had been, how she could have missed the signs Jason had given. She didn’t know how she would face him the next time she saw him. He was a drug dealer and a drug user. How was she going to pretend that she didn’t know this? It was all such a mess. She had the feeling that in a few weeks time her entire life had been turned up side down. And coming to think of it, the only positive thing in the whole situation had been the meeting of Erica.

Erica… she was so beautiful. Those legs that seemed to go on forever. Her eyes were the bluest she had ever seen. Earlier this evening she had seen how dark Erica’s eyes could get when she was troubled by something, and how they lightened up when their hands briefly touched. Her lips looked so soft and so inviting to kiss. She had never kissed a woman before, or thought about kissing a woman, but now all she could think of was kissing those soft lips. She imagined how they would feel. Would they be softer than a men’s lips? Would it be more sensual? And how would it feel to be pressed against Erica’s body? To feel her breasts against hers? To feel her hands roam her body and stop at her breasts? To feel her squeeze her nipples?

“Oh god”, Callie moaned. She had never been this turned on just by thinking about someone kissing her and touching her.

“Oh shit, I’m in trouble…”

***************************************************************************

Erica hoped Callie would be alright. She was worried about her. Callie had seemed reluctant to talk much about it. She couldn’t blame her, she had no idea how she would react to such news herself. She just hoped that Callie would come to her if she wanted to talk more.

Callie… she was all Erica seemed to think about lately. She loved how Callie’s curly hair bounced when she laughed. Or how her eyes light up whenever she eats pancakes or Poptarts.

Or how… Hell, she just loved everything about Callie.

Yesterday she had read an article in some gossip magazine. The article was about the advantage of having a size 0. The article had posted a picture of Callie, stating that “Calliope was an example of how someone could be more successful if she would lose weight”. That had gotten her so angry. She would love nothing more than to hold Callie’s curvy body and kiss every curve and love handle on her body. She thought Callie had a beautiful, sexy body. Those reporters were just stupid and blind in her opinion.

Why did men always want skinny women who looked like a skeleton? A woman has to look like a woman and she definitely liked real women, women like Callie. She loved breasts, she loved curves. And breasts and curves make a woman in her opinion

She closed her eyes and her mind went back to a couple of nights before…

They were sitting in the living room. Callie had been listening to some of her new songs and she had been reading a novel. Suddenly Callie jumped up from the couch.

“Erica, you are gonna love this song, it’s great”, Callie called out.

“What song, Callie? You are listening to your iPod, I can’t hear a thing.”

“Come here, we can each have an ear to listen to”, Callie motioned her to come over.

She reluctantly went to Callie. Callie put one earphone in her ear and kept one for herself too. She was standing way to close. How was she supposed to breath with Callie standing mere inches from her?

To her horror Callie suddenly started swaying her hips to the music, while singing along.

“Oh god”, she groaned.

Callie continued dancing and moving her body to the music. She had to admit, the song was great. But Callie dancing to it, that was even greater. And hotter.

Suddenly Callie put her hands on her hips and started moving her hips to the music.

“Come on, Erica, let’s dance, let’s loosen up.”

Reluctantly she started moving a bit, but before she realized it, she and Callie were dancing together, hips grounding against each other.

She had never felt more aroused than at that moment and it took every ounce of self control in her body not to ravish Callie right there in the living room while dancing…

“Oh shit, I’m in trouble…”
