I changed it up.

From my mother’s recipe box -these are always a huge party pleaser. I have had friends disregard the searing pain in their mouth as they ate them directly from the pan because they couldn’t stop eating them. From my Grandma Etta’s kitchen. As a child, I loved when my mom made these for breakfast. I always like them with cinnamon-sugar, but they are also good with a Kosher-for-Passover maple syrup

The standard, staple charoset recipe in my family. We can’t do a Seder without it!

ETTA’S CHAROSET

4 Gala or Red Delicious Apples
Chopped Walnuts
2T Sugar
2T Cinnamon
3T Manishewitz wine

Cop/dice apples
Place in a medium sized bowl
Add chopped walnuts
Add sugar, cinnamon, & wine

Passover is upon us! And every year, I .lose this recipe. So I will post it here for safe keeping.

PEAR CHAROSET

8 pears
4 cups crushed walnuts
4t cinnamon
8T honey
16T red wine

Chop pears into 1/2 to 3/4 inch pieces
Place in a large bowl
Add other ingredients
