Another dream come true

I wrote the following about six weeks ago...

Quite a few years ago, I read Lanier's article "I am a Stay-at-Home Wife" and thrilled to it. For her insights and musings on being a helpmeet to her husband clearly articulated what was one of my sweetest and dearest dreams, though yet unfulfilled. And that dream stayed unfulfilled for what seemed like ( Read more... )

I'm so happy for you, Jessica! I pray that God blesses you and Aaron abundantly in your new life together! It has been such fun to watch you in your struggles as a single, to your joy in a relationship, to your relishing of wifehood. It's also encouraging...

I've always said that I would be happy to drop dance, theatre, etc. to be a stay-at-home wife and one day mother. It has always been my biggest dream, and it still is. I'm very excited to see you being able to see yours come to fruition!

I wanted to respond to this for awhile, but words escape me. I have to admit that I envy you. This is also my dream. I have spent the last past weeks in prayer to the Lord over my feelings. He has reminded me that I too have received one of my dreams. I received a second chance in marriage. I know what you mean about timing. The Lord decides when. He knew that I needed a husband that repected and cared about me, but he waited until the time was right. I have been in a very peaceful mood the last few days because I realize all that I am thankful for. Enough rambling.

I am thrilled for you, my friend, and God has given this dream fufilled to me as well. I am so, so happy. It truly does get better every day! :)

Not sure if you remember me- I "met" you on here some years back, but lost contact at some point (not sure if I was songofsummer or chantel_ak or what back then?) and I've just now discovered your journal while I was wading through some things for YLCF. I was Chantel Harding, now Chantel Brankshire, and I'd love to be friends on here once more. :)

HI Jessica,
Do you mind if I add you?
I found you through YLCF and recognized your name...I am friends with the C's (Holly) who are friends with the Telians. THey came to your wedding and I was privileged to be able to see some of the photos of your lovely wedding (Congratulations, btw!).

And I'm also a friend of Chantels too. =)

Thanks for your comment, delightinginhim...that's completely fine if you want to add me! Wow, small world...the C's are actually here this week helping Aaron work on the house he's building for us to live in. :) And I'm glad you enjoyed our wedding photos...we were very happy with how it all turned out!

Have a lovely day!

Sometimes it does seem like a small world; I did find out that the C's had taken the trip down there from a small note from Holly. I hope the building is going well!

I have found many of your posts thought provoking.
Sorry I didn't give you my name. I am Jaclynn R. soon to be 24. I have an identical twin sister too. There are 7 kids in my family and we are the oldest.

Thank you, Jaclynn...building is going really well! Having Matt and Brian here to help for a week made a huge difference...we were so blessed by their help.
