Hi Jessica,
I'm glad that you seemed to enjoy your break, and I am looking forward to future posts. I haven't read any of those books, but I have heard of most of them. Please let me know which ones you would recommend!

Sarah...good to hear from you! How are you doing? I've been wondering lately how you were...what with your birthday about a week ago and all...so "Happy Birthday!" many days late!

Though it probably won't be until the end of the semester, I'll try to remember to let you all know which books of all my reading I would recommend...

Have a glorious day!

The Whitney book is excellent; I read it a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what happened to my copy. It's one that you will find yourself going back to over the years. In it, the author mentions another "classic" on spiritual discipline that is worthy of your permanent library called Celebration of Discipline by Richard J. Foster.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, the Whitney book looks like it will be good... I've heard of The Celebration of Discipline several times, but I have yet to read it...
