Just got back from camping - it was a great weekend, even though the weather wasn't the nicest. It was nice having so much of the family all in one place, even though there were a few missing (I'm starting to realize that now that most of the cousins are all grown-up, spread out, and living their own lives, it's going to be increasingly difficult

Ugh, rory/logan, cappie/rebecca + george/izzie = SO MUCH HATE. Cannot stand any of those pairings.

Jen K & Rusty on his bed, going through the different things that they "love" (essentially mocking the whole premature "I Love You" incident). The fact that it does end with a very heartfelt confession of feelings makes it all the more sweet.
LOVED this scene. I thought it was filmed beautifully

5. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
aw, I LOVE this. I love the way its shot, I think the cinematography is awesome. I adore Kate Winslet and I think she kicked total ass in this movie as did Jim Carey. And I love that at the end of the movie they want to be with each other, regardless of knowing how they previously didn't work out and all of each other's flaws, etc. Its a shame you dont like it =(

I can definitely see how someone would be a big fan of the movie - I have a lot of friends who cite it as one of their all-time favorites. I watched it a few years ago with pretty high expectations, and for some reason it just didn't "click" with me. I think I just didn't get particularly attached to the characters, and wound up feeling pretty indifferent to the whole thing. I will say though that I did find both of their performances to be really well-done.

I've been watching quite a bit of AD lately, but haven't dug out the Gilmore DVDs in a while... I definitely go through spells with shows, but then I'll see a clip or something and be reminded of why I got hooked in the first place!
