I think I've seen 4, but I'm not totally sure.
I certainly don't care about horror like I used to, but even back then I think I primarily enjoyed the campy aspects. Chmmr will now post the best frame from III.

You're exactly right. I don't know what was up with the theme of 'people ostentatiously know things you wouldn't expect them to! HOLY COW!' but I hate that crap unless it's done really really carefully.

I could not finish Coffee & Cigarettes. That film pushed me over to disliking him. I was a fan of Night on Earth and also Mystery Train, but I won't waste my time on another.

I personally see Coffee and Cigarettes as an aberration. I don't see its suckiness leeching into any of his other work, myself, although I think his tendency to make friends with celebrities and want to make films with them has the potential to give birth to some terrible-ass crap. Possibly this particular crap.
