I think I've seen 4, but I'm not totally sure.
I certainly don't care about horror like I used to, but even back then I think I primarily enjoyed the campy aspects. Chmmr will now post the best frame from III.

There have been some horror movies I found both scary and appealing, but I think I can count them on the fingers of one hand. They seem to all be in the short list of universally revered horror movies, so you can probably guess what they are.

EXCEPT! Everyone says "The Exorcist" is the scariest thing ever, and what I've seen of it just strikes me as laughably stupid. I can't decide if this is because I've mostly seen the reportedly butchered TV edit, or if it's because you have to kind of halfway believe in demons to be scared by "The Exorcist".

I don't know about the scariest thing ever, but the newer cut of the Exorcist had the backward/upside-down crabwalk down the stairs that was really wonderful. I think that's all I care about. Oh, but wasn't Max von Sydow in it?
