The cartoonbrew crowd and such are getting kind of goofy over this article, which is unfortunate, in part. Okay, the 'self-perpetuating middle-aged losers' concept is amusing, but what is this crap about referential humor ruining the source material? I almost clicked on the URL to check it out but noticed the domain, thought of our ultra-super-duper monitoring software, and decided to read the article at home.

Even if his name turns out to be Michael Sporn.

And I really can't believe this guy thinks kids would be dumb enough to watch The Godfather and say "OMG THEY TOTALLY STOLE THAT HEAD IN BED THING FROM THE SIMPSONS!!!1"

Yeah, "protect the children" because they's too dumb to think for theyselves. Way to go, Jercules.
