Finally got my first ever royalty statement. Sadly I am still to earn out my advance. Roll on November....

yes, it's been nearly a year and the number of entries has been less than satisfactory. A New Year's resolution is in order. I shall complete more entries, I just won't specify a year in case I am equally as bad in 2005.

All is well in Spain.

Finally made it out to Spain and have organised a dial-up connection to tide me over until the ADSL modem arrives. Everything is great and it's still bloody warm considering we're days away from November.

The quotes are coming in for the removals people to ferry our stuff over to Spain - and it's not pretty. We're looking at a cost of about 5 grand after VAT, we really weren't expecting that sort of cost...

Pregnancy had its highest rating on Amazon this week. 134 its best performance yet, and it's top of the Fatherhood category, which can't be a bad thing. Hay House say they've sold 2353 copies thus far, which is pretty good going for four weeks effort ( Read more... )

It's been a while since I have written volumes of words in a single sitting. Updating this, composing e-mails and a couple of book proposals are about as much as I have managed since completing Pregnancy last year. Managed nearly 12,000 this weekend which is over 20% of the book, so a good start - just hope that I don't run out of things to write ( Read more... )

Hurrah - draft contract came through from Infinite Ideas - They liked my proposal and sample chapter for Re-Energise Your Website and it's a done deal. Five grand thank-you-very-much.
