So you totally don't know me, but (hopefully) that's okay. I was searching for GetBackers recs on delicious because it's my New Favorite Thing (tm) and someone had just recced your journal. As a huge PSoH fan, I hunted down the rest of EH and - there are no words.
Well, yes, there are. I loved it. D and Leon aren't perfectly in character, but as you said - it's an AU. Um, to be honest the sex scene creeped me out just a little bit, but logically? It worked, especially if you throw magic into the equation.
I loved the whole concept. My guess as to what Leon is would have to be phoenix - associated with the sun and fire, and I've heard a few stories that a phoenix can always tell when you're lying.
But. Um. Anyway. I really really liked this, and I'll definitely be watching you for more. *wanders off to check out your other fic*

And to be honest right back? The purpose of the vine!sex is to sorta creep people out. It's supposed to emphasize the fact the D is Not Human, and that Leon's not totally comfortable with what's going on. So you telling me this? That the sex was creepy and yet still worked on a logical the-world-hasa-magic level? Totally makes my day.
And as for your guess? I'm not telling~!

By "preconceptions" I'm kind of talking about people's guesses about what exactly Leon and Chris are. So far not one person has gotten it right. And yes I have read the manga, all of it in fact. And I've started collecting the sequel. And yes, the end of vol. 9 was wonderful, especially the "Adult" class. XD It was kind of subconciously my inspiration for the chapter. ^_^

It's a good thing for my word count, but a bad thing for my other WIPs. They just don't have enough firepower to compete. I'll see what I can scrounge up. And a happy holidays to you as well. ^_^
