Am posting from my phone, AGAIN, because the silly mail service doesn't run on Sunday's and so there is at least another week until I get my shiney new laptop. Practice makes perfect. Although in my case it's more like practice makes persistent affliction. XP

My problem is that I want long fics like that... but I'm no good at writing them! Especially on my own.

I don't handwrite fic usually because my hand can't keep up with my brain! Though for this year's NaNo I've been handwriting it, in part to work on my cursive. (I also haven't been even trying to get to 50k. I've already worked on it more days than I have previous NaNos, because my goal is to just get something down everyday.)

Aww... I suppose I have the opposite problem! Ha!

The more you write, the better your fine motor control gets. After a while you can stop thinking about what your hand's doing and just pour it out on to the page. Plus, the best way to write is to make sure you jot something down every day. Even if it's just a cool quote you want to use. Once you start it gets hard to stop, just like any other addiction. XP
