Nnngh... *stares at Soundwave, who ignores the squishy organic creature in favour of chasing Seekers* ... There's no telling at this point, apparently. *glares at muses*

I'm not entirely surprised, given Soundwave's relations with his creators. And Seekers are far too pretty and sexy, so it's easy to understand his distraction there.

I tend to do that too. I don't know what it is about planes, but they knock me right out. I try to do stuff on them (like read, or write, or knit), and brain just goes "nope! Look out the window until you fall asleep!"

It's not that Soundwave has a bad relationship with his creators... they just kept him at home for too long and tried to tell him who he was supposed to date! ... Yeah. I'd prefer the pretty Seekers too. XP

Hmm...A very good backstory indeed. I know there have been several who've speculated on Soundwave's background and where he came from, but this is one of the more detailed ones I've read in this regard. You now have me wondering if the city still exists or if it was found and destroyed as they feared would happen. Whatever, one of theirs survived and that's likely what they wanted to be sure of.

I liked this piece much.

Thanks, hun. Coming up with this was an interesting exercise indeed. As for the city of Seiber... they were pretty deep under the surface, and considering how well the Autobot femmes survived underground without nearly as much experience as the Seiber mechanisms... I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that they managed pretty well, at least until the energon ran out.

Yeah, I... really have no idea where Soundwave came up with this. Seiber... fared about as well as any city-state that tried to stay neutral in the War, which is to say not very well.

As the others, I say interesting. I was surprised by the hive concept- I'm more used to seeing that with insecticons. It works well here, though. Telepaths -would- be rather hive-like, mentally at least. ^^

Maybe just because it's from Sound's POV, more or less, but I find myself hoping they get... let's say 'well shaken up.'...

I do try my best to be unpredictable. And at this point in time the Insecticons (aka Kickback, Bombshell, and Shrapnel) aren't the Insecticons yet. (And the Swarm is an entirely different mechanism entirely. XP)

... Shaken up is an apt description. Yep.
