Uhm... is it wrong if I hope that most of these Borg are gone now? Sorry, but they just creep me out.
I like Sounders (Soundwave: Superior indeed) but his kin makes me want to run for the hills. I hope that if any survived that they will never get wind of Soundwave and his new family. Somehow I think that together with the more "soul-connecting" wind-bond Soundwave's kin's telepathy can be great but on its own? Not good. Especially not with a society forming like I imagine it now. ^^"
Forgive me, but I'd like a complete reset for the Cybertronian telepaths, please. Preferably with some wings thrown in there.^^"
(makes me wonder though, in just how many pieces the Wing Lord or any Seeker would rip the Hive leaders should they begin talking about Cohorts and a Hive leader's proper duties and mindblind carriers and their ungifted offspring while in their vicinity... O.O)
*cackles* Well, they were supposed to come off as a bit creepy and inbred - glad to hear it worked. XP
Soundwave's format unit was just the tiniest bit... controlling, yes. And there was a lot of things about Cybertron's Golden Age societies that were broken and just plain messed up. Seiber's techonopaths are just one example of how stagnation breeds rot and corruption. "For your own good." is the scariest fragging phrase in the history of ever.
Well, the Seekers have always had telepaths - they just kept them very well hidden. (The Seiber Hives avoided Seekers for a very good reason, just sayin'.)
"For your own good" and "for the good of all". And the most dreaded word ever is "why". All parents love and coo at their kids' first words/talking - until they learn that particular word XD
Do we get to see more of these subcultures/societies?
Very interesting take on Megatron's madness, though. I don't think I've ever seen this angle used before.
So, telepaths as in windbond, trine bond etc or telepaths as in many of them had telepathy as their Sigma power/gift? Avoided, huh? Wanna know. More please =^.^=
... I might write more, it depends on if the backstory/worldbuilding calls for it.
I have no idea where that method of Megatron`s madness came from. Soundwave just kinda... looked at me and told me how it was. I know I`ve never seen it explained this way before.
Telepaths as in the only/overwhelmingly prevalent Sigma Power was telepathy.
Interesting take on the way Megatron's core programming affects him. I wonder if he realises it.
I'm really curious about Blaster's backstory and origin of his cassettes in this verse now, given Soundwave's and that fanon sometimes has Blaster as a telepath too.
