The infinite sum of 1/np (p-series) converges for all p greater than 1.

But why does the harmonic series (p=1) diverge?

we also found this link helpful, and now I've made not one but two relevant comments on the most difficult friends post of the day. Difficult for me, though Justin tells me this is unimpressive basic calculus. I will therefore curb my enthusiasm.
