What a fabulous ending to a brilliant series! I really enjoyed the world you built here. It was wonderful to see Jim taking Bones seriously and being willing to show him what Bones means to him, and Bones accepting the place Jim has in his life ( ... )

I just love your detailed feedback! *rolls around in your words*

It was wonderful to see Jim finally capitulate and by the end there wasn't just a sense of the two of them being 'equals' but of them both recognising what the other means - hopefully the 'fight' finally over. This is exactly what I wanted to convey so, it's lovely to know that's how you saw it!

Thank you, bb! *hugs*

That's such a great ending, and I really love the historical details in this and how it's like a moment from the a history book. Amazing fic!

like a moment from the a history book. Wow, high praise, indeed! Thanks for letting me know that's how it felt 'cause I really worked on this and tried to do it subtly as I was determined to keep the language modern (mostly)! Thank you!

Wonderful ending for a wonderful story! But I'm kinda sad that it's over, I have a weak spot for circus stories (blame it on Zimmer-Bradley's 'The Catch Trap', well done novel about a family of trapeze artists AND a homoerotic lovestory set in the '40s)^^.

I loved the dreamlike sequence in this part, and how Bones lets Jim set the pace, but still finally asserts his equality in their relationship.

I love the sound of that book and I'll have to hunt it down!

I'm pleased the dynamics in the sexin' worked -- I really thought hard about the psychology there (as well as where all their hands were ;D) to try and make it about equality in the end, so it's great you saw that. Thank you for letting me know!

This! This is a thing of beauty! The power struggle between Jim & Bones and more so between Bones and himself, was so intense. The shave was so hot! Jim's determination to not let him go...ughhh.
The Absinthe House definitely melted some circuitry in both the brain and computer because I'm incoherently rambling.
You are incredible.

That comment wasn't at all incoherent - it was just fabulous! *beams* Yes, this was definitely intense and I'm so glad you were swept along by that. Yeah, shaving's hot, no doubt about it so I'm glad you enjoyed my kink ;D

Thank you for your heart-felt comment, it's really appreciated!
