I really enjoyed this -- stayed up late to finish and was too sleepy to comment. The character bleed added such interesting levels to it, and I love the save Supernatural salt campaign and Jensen showing up at the con. And I love how Jared is there for Jensen without being inhumanly perfect and strong. And, of course, a dose of angst followed by a happy ending is never wrong.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked the ending. I needed to get them back to a good space and yet leave a touch of impact behind because such an event would leave a mark.

Amazing. I loved it! Awesome job!

There were times I wanted to cry, and times I wanted to cheer. Jensen's intro at the con was one of those times.

I like the little "The End" reference where it's Sam going to the future.

Thanks so much! It's cool you noticing that change in Season 5. My beta wanted me to write an AU fic of Sam being the one to go. We'll see :) But I remembered hearing Jensen talk about how difficult that episode was to film with the dual role and it seemed natural that it would have to change given my AU post-accident world.

You also pointed out one of my favorite scenes in the whole story, which was Jensen surprising Jared at the con.

I'm very pleased you enjoyed this story!
