This was a very good yarn! The first chapter or two was very confusing--as thoughts must have been for the golem. Dean's losing his memories was heartbreaking, but I loved John's fierce fight to save him. Nice work.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. This was my first true casefic and it was challenging. I reworked the creature POV parts many times to try to make them clear without giving away all the mystery. A fine line. I'm glad you were willing to stick with it because I think by the end I tried to explain everything without exposition overload.

Good case fic! I really liked the way you handled the golem myth and the gradual theft of Dean's memories.

Thanks so much. This was my first casefic. They are harder than they seem! Was challenging. Not just researching the golem but his POV, which I thought would be fun to explore but really was a bear to write and still be clear.

Loved it. Very intriguing casefic. I almost skipped reading it because I prefer fics centered around the brothers but I decided to give it a shot anyways. Awesome keeping everybody true to character. Very believable. And hurtDean is always love!

I know just what you mean. I missed Sam as I wrote this. Seriously, like an ache. But he's in the story. Kinda at its heart.

Sympathy for a Golem. Shoulda titled this piece that! Gotta say, didn't expect that as feedback. He was a pathetic creature in his own way. Not so much evil as amoral. But pretty. :)

Thanks! My first one. Challenging. I now have a whole new level of admiration for the Show's writers (not it wasn't already sky high!) And writing Stanford-era is tough. I missed Sam! Was me that was aching.
