Tonight was julbord (think smörgåsbord with Swedish Christmas food) and the Christmas show at school. I was there almost 12 hours today. I'm exhausted, but I had a great time. Tomorrow the students finish around lunchtime and then we (the personnel) will have a common coffee break in the afternoon, before we head off to various corners of Sweden to

Well that kind of sucks. Are you going to do anything special for yourself for the holiday? Dress up the dog?

We used to have an antler headband... wonder if that's still around somewhere...

Actually, I'm going to be lighting Christmas-y smelling candles and watching the traditional cartoons on Christmas Eve and palying Christmas songs at full volume. I may throw a turkey in the oven and make some cranberry sauce (breaking my no carb rule), because Christmas only comes once a year!
