House Guests and When A Vacation Isn't Always A Vacation

Well, this morning my cousin and her husband (C & L) arrived from Milwaukee. They will be staying with us for two weeks. She's a fellow knitter, so we will be scoping out some knitting shops along with the other sight-seeing that we will be doing. We will probably head up to Gävle for a couple of days to see H. There used to be Moose Safaris from Vänersborg or Vargön up to Halleberg/Hunneberg. Maybe they still do those.

Hi Hi, hope you are having a wonderful vacation time with your cousin and enjoying the time off (and not having to go in to school). My computer had a fried motherboard so I haven't been around.

In Stockholm, I can vouch for the Vasa Museum (saw it years ago and it was amazing)!

There is also Skansen outdoor History Museum http://www.skansen.se. I had a very good time there and seeing all--including all the historical rural buildings. Especially buildings from Blekinge - Smaland, and a home with a loom that is identical to the one I inherited. That's where my genes came from and like a homecoming. It was a bunch to see, and it was worth a long visit.

And your cousins will be there for Midsommer festivities! yay!
Hope you have a wonderful time whatever you do, and of course knitting is a prerequisite ;-)
