Autumnal Bliss, Make That **Melancholy

Ah, it's Saturday, finally! What a week! I'm finally getting to the point at work that I can clearly see what is the next priority that needs to be done, not five "I-need-this-done-right-now" things all at the same time. There still is a lot to do, but I'm getting more of a handle on it. Last week, when I was sick (BTW, the cold is hanging on for ( Read more... )

Isn't it funny how people react differently to season changes? I am really getting energized by the crispness in the air in the mornings here. Of course, having a really great job to go to, nice people to work with and money for all the little extras in life doesn't hurt, does it? Miss being able to see you every now and then, though.

Actually, it was writing this post that made me homesick, remembering all of the things that happen at home during the fall. Ed has it's good sides in the fall, too. The street market is coming up the second weekend of October. I just love Marknad!

This too, shall pass.
Hugs for you - and the room is always ready. See you in October, once that cold leaves you, the pure joy of no stuffiness will improve your mood.
Hugs to you!

But but... Dundee is nowhere near Green Bay! (I grew up in the wee tiny town of Waldo, not so far from Dundee and "Dundee Mountain.")

And, no, I haven't even started your socks yet, but now maybe I'll have to use some sock yarn that's been to Wisconsin, although it limits the color options to blue or tan....

Well, I've sent off Fiber_snob's socks last Monday and just finished yours last night, so please send your mailing address to sandyinsweden AT gmail DOT com, so that I can send them out to you this week. I really like how they turned out, much better than the first pair I made for you.

Dundee is south of Green Bay and on the same side of the state, anyway. I'm sure that I've driven very close to it when driving from Green Bay to Milwaukee. I also spent Thanksgiving in a town around that general vacinity (southeast of Fond du lac) once.

Waving back and looking forward to October!
Autumn is really my favourite time and yet I find myself in Eva Cassidy mood instead of my usual Nazareth mood. I wonder why....
