This post was first posted to bookish  but since I mentioned it in one of my previous posts, figured I would post my review here too in case you're not following that particular community.

Ah, so this was the banned book your son wanted to read! Sounds interesting.

I think you just do bookish to get the community name to show as an LJ link - bookish

Yes, this was the one! It was interesting. I enjoyed it anyway.

Ok, thanks - I'll try that!

Oh actually .. if you use the rich text editor or whatever the non-html option is, I don't know how to do it. I use the html one, so that's how you do it there.

So this is the infamous book. It sounds pretty interesting although I'd be more interested in a more theral and in-depth exploration of legends and cultures. Good luck with the hunt. don't forget to tell us about that book once you read it.
And thanks to shebear for the tip. I was wondering how to do that too.

Well, it's a kids book so can't get too in depth or you'll lose them. lol Thanks! Found a copy online someone was trying to sell for $150! No thanks!

Yeah, I had to go to the other way of doing the bookish thing in my entry because when I typed what shebear typed, it just looked like the code and not the actual name with the little icon thingy.

Apparently, it only likes her name because when I tried it with the bookish site, it showed up as code only. =)

That's expensive! And unless it's made of gold or it tells you how to make your own gold, it's not worth it (except if there's a spell in it that makes annoying little brother disappear or turns them into plants).
