I'm in Bukit Jalil, in my brother's room. It is nice to see him again... partly because he brings the stuff that I had forgotten from Yangon. :)

I just woke up half an hour ago and vividly remember my dream during the night, which involves a baby. A baby that I gave birth. Cute, chubby, little boy. I remembered how much I love that little bundle of screaming infant and that feeling is so strange. Saw an ERCP procedure and stenting of bile duct today. It was a pretty cool procedure... makes me want to become a gastroenterologist.

After finding out that admission is free, I decided to go for some sightseeing at the Singapore botanic gardens. Google maps showed that I can take MRT to botanic gardens station right outside the gate itself so I left the house at about 3.30pm. Deciding to do a bit of exploring in the lion city, I left yesterday evening around 5.30pm with Marina Bay as my destination. The sun was still high up in the sky when I alighted in Raffles Place station. The residents told me yesterday that they start their rounds at 8.00am so I rushed this morning at 7.35am to reach the hospital in time. After 2 months of trying to find ways to overcome several internet bans in Myanmar, I am now in Singapore and free to go to any websites I want! such joy!

Stupid Burmese government. Banning everything! Argh!

It has been months since I have lasted posted, but life as a med student has gotten in the way of keeping a livejournal.
