bahaha. obviously, you can be a gender studies professor with a phd in gender studies. i don't know why this didn't occur to me before. possibly because i don't actually want to be a professor ever.
i'm sitting in a windowsill in schulich and i just keep getting distracted by the grass and the sun and the trees and the people sitting on the grass and under the trees. it's getting to be that time of year where all i want to do is lie in the grass and get drunk in parks but unfortunately i have five days left of academic fun-killing.
But the beginning of things, of a world especially, is necessarily vague, tangled, chaotic, and exceedingly disturbing. How few of us ever emerge from such beginning! How many souls perish in its tumult
